With winter season fast approaching, airline bodies call on aviation companies, especially low-cost-carriers (LCCs), to operate so that many families will be reunited in winter. While keeping in mind about the ongoing development of the COVID19 vaccine, aviation bodies & government councils have come to an agreement that instead of imposing a quarantine procedure, a traveler will undergo a COVID19 test instead before leaving the place of origin. Baby steps? Yes, but remember, great things start small, so better start tracking closely the travel restrictions for nearby places with the following tactics:
- Subscribe to ICAO, EBAA, IATA and the likes, and/or to your preferred and trusted Aviation Services supplier for an accurate and easily understood summary of travel restrictions and other guidelines.
- Keep tabs on countries that you are closely monitoring, especially those places that are really popular like Maldives, Bahamas, Philippines, and etc.
- Listen and monitor trends in social media. The social media is a digital world where information dissemination is as fast as a lightning. It is real time and mostly comes from real audience.
By doing the aforementioned tactics in tracking closely the travel restrictions for proximate places, flight opportunities will overflow and it will be easier for a company to project a good branding & image as airlines participate thoroughly in this noble cause of bridging the continuity of supply chain and demand, especially this coming winter season.
