Air Ambulance Facilities and Services

Through our partnerships with European medical specialists, using only equipment specifically designed for ICU air ambulance transfers, we can provide state of the art medical care in a unique environment. If needed, we can source aircrafts with augmented capabilities that include highly specialized and advanced devices. Whether you need to arrange or support for an individual patient, or an urgent mass evacuation, we can source a fully equipped aircraft, staffed by a highly trained medical team.

Emergency Medical Flights

Flying on a private jet, when the patient’s medical condition is critical, also presents the advantage of lower cabin pressure compared to commercial flights, which allows for more oxygen on board, better breathing conditions and reduced fatigue for patients and passengers. We assist individuals, businesses, insurance companies, private clinics, and hospitals with pre- or post-op air transportation.

Modern Technology & Medical Equipment

For us to offer prompt assistance, we require detailed information on the patient’s condition and medical record, as well as the contact details of his or her treating doctor and receiving hospital. We also need to establish the exact requirements to provide the correct aircraft accordingly to the Medical Checklist below.

  • ICU Standard Patient Monitoring

  • ECG Monitoring via 12-lead ECG

  • Computer assisted real-time ECG analysis to realize possible early changes

COVID-Controlled Charters

When it comes to air ambulance services, safety is of the utmost importance. That’s why for the last 20 years, Tahseen Aviation Services also dedicated our air charter services to providing Air Ambulance or MEDEVAC services as one of our emergency responses. We ensure our clients receive the best emergency care on air as we regularly adhere to the safety standards imposed by ICAO for operations under the pandemic season.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MEDEVAC?2021-07-17T20:08:52+04:00

Medevac is an air ambulance service for patients in need of urgent attention. The jets used are specially designed for medical emergencies; carrying the same equipment as a regular ambulance and staffed by emergency doctors, paramedics and nurses. Depending on your needs, you can also charter a larger aircraft, which is essentially a fully-operational flying hospital with an on-board surgery and a full medical team.

How long does an air ambulance take to reach the patient?2021-07-17T20:08:44+04:00

Once we have the patient’s key details (their medical history, location and treating hospital) we can have an medevac flight airborne in two hours.

What information do you need to provide when booking a medevac flight?2021-07-17T20:08:41+04:00

To book the right aircraft for your needs, we’ll need to know the route, the patient’s condition and the contact details of their doctor or hospital. And just like any other charter, we’ll also need the patient’s passport and visa details.

Can the patient’s families travel in the air ambulance with them?2021-07-17T20:08:35+04:00

Smaller planes will only have room for the patient and the medical staff, but larger planes can carry close relatives too. If you’d specifically like a larger plane, just let us know when you request a quote.

Can you use MEDEVAC for psychiatric emergencies?2021-07-17T20:08:30+04:00

Yes. The air ambulances operators Victor works with have in-house psychiatrists for psychiatric patients. The psychiatrist is available to support the patient’s families too.

Where do air ambulances fly to?2021-07-17T20:08:26+04:00

Air ambulances can fly to (and from) anywhere in the world — though long-haul emergency flights may require a stopover.

Can a patient bring their own doctor or nurse on board?2021-07-17T20:08:22+04:00

Every medevac flight comes with a specially-trained team, and they’re the only people allowed to provide medical treatment on board. The patient’s own doctor or nurse can accompany them on the flight, but only as an observer.

Will my insurance cover medevac?2021-07-17T20:08:18+04:00

In some cases, your air ambulance flight charter will be covered by your health or travel insurance. And either way, Victor can give you a medevac quote in minutes and have an emergency flight airborne in two hours.
