Turkey will impose partial weekend curfews .The curfew will be effective on weekends, but movement will be allowed between 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time. A partial curfew which was already in effect for people over the age of 65 has also been expanded to include those under 20, with the exception of those who have to go out for work. They can step outside their homes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the week. As of 8 September the wearing of masks is mandatory at all times outside the home throughout Turkey. This includes, but is not limited to, all public places, including streets, side streets, parks, gardens, picnic areas, markets, sea side and public transportation including Metro, buses, taxis and ferries. Masks are also mandatory in all shops, restaurants, hairdressers and barber shops.
There are capacity limits on public transport to make sure passengers follow social distancing guidelines from 12 November, smoking in open areas (streets, avenues and other open public areas) is banned.

All passengers, of all nationalities, who meet Turkish immigration rules are permitted entry to Turkey. You must wear a face mask at all times whilst in an airport, and for the duration of all flights, to and from Turkey. All arrivals into Turkey will be subject to a medical evaluation for symptoms of coronavirus, including temperature checks. Any passengers showing symptoms including high fever, coughing or respiratory difficulties will be will be required to undergo a PCR test (a swab test) for coronavirus you will need to complete a passenger locator form prior to arriving in Turkey. Details will be provided by your airline. You will be asked to provide the residential address of where you will stay, within the borders of Turkey, and your contact information.
PCR testing for foreigners is limited to those who have symptoms or those who may have an entry requirement back to their home country. Testing is paid for by the traveler. In the event that a test returns a positive result, you will be provided with medical treatment at a facility determined by the Ministry of Health or, if preferred, at a private medical facility in Turkey. You should check whether your health insurance policy includes coverage for Covid-19.
Hotels opened with new coronavirus preventative measures in place. Wedding halls, theaters and cinemas set to reopen. Temperatures are taken in restaurants, hotels and outdoor malls. At hotels, all breakfast buffets were replaced by a la carte options, gym usage required appointments as equipment disinfected between each use, menus largely replaced by signs with QR codes, etc. The playing of live music at restaurants and cafes after midnight is forbidden restaurants, and hairdressers will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the week, with restaurants only providing delivery service.
