King Air 360ER, the optimum turboprop
Emerging from the renowned Beechcraft family with more than 80 years of reputation in aviation manufacturing, King Air 360ER is popular turboprop that offers excellent performance and versatility. It is an extended range variant of the King Air B300 family, which is popularly known as a long-range special mission surveillance aircraft and widely used in law enforcement and border protection.
The 360ER retains King Air’s elongated, oval-shaped fuselage. Unlike other King Air models, it has added passive cabin-noise reduction. It is equipped with 85 tuned absorbers allowing for efficient reduction of noise.
With 2,692 nm range, 360ER has a 49% longer range than its brother aircraft, the King Air 350i with a range of 1,806 nm. It received a 1,500 lb gross weight increase because of its larger and stronger landing gear. This allows for a fuel capacity increase of 236 gallons to a total of 775 gallons.
Its cabin has 10% lower altitude pressure and is reconfigurable, allowing various uses. From passenger and cargo, to air ambulance and emergency charters, King Air 360ER is smart and practical choice.
The cockpit is equipped with state of the art avionics, digital pressurization, and an auto throttle. Notable avionic features include the Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion Avionics Suite that comes with three 14-inch touchscreen displays, synthetic vision, graphical flight planning, and integrated charts and maps. It also has engine indicating and crew alerting system (EICAS), a traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS II), a dual flight management system (FMS), and an automatic flight guidance system (AFGS).
Passengers get the comfort that they deserve, all thanks to its digital pressurization feature that enables automatic scheduling of cabin pressure during climb and descent. This results to much better passenger comfort, as well as reduced pilot workload.
Beechcraft King Air interiors are designed for both productivity and comfort. It comes with handcrafted seats comfortably positioned next to a window. In addition, there are single seats that convert to beds for the passengers’ additional flexibility and comfort.
The turboprop also minimizes pilot workload with standard features such as the IS&S Thrust Sense Auto throttle. This feature allows precision control for optimized power output, including OvertorqueOvertemp protection for a smoother takeoff.
